GENERAL FUND LEVY REQUEST

School Election May 7, 2024

Woodman’s General Fund budget is

calculated based on a formula determined

by the state and includes a levy amount that

a district can request of its voters. The

Woodman School Board had the option of

asking for up to $53,000 but instead chose

to ask its voters for a more conservative

$20,000 levy. This much needed levy will be

used for normal operating expenses

including staff retention and salaries,

supporting instructional programs,

curriculum materials, utility expenses, and

upkeep of the facilities.

Cost: $20.77/year per $100K in

assessed property tax value
